Nokok combines three things into one: an outdoor jacket, a coat and a sleeping bag. Nokok is a cocoon for globetrotters; less luggage means less weight. Nokok seamlessly transforms from a jacket to a sleeping bag. The jacket turns into a coat; the coat turns into a mummy sleeping bag. This is accomplished by connecting the arm to the torso piece with the help of an innovative zipper system. Nokok can also be used as a pinafore, throw or bottom blanket. Nokok adjusts to varying climatic conditions. In addition to varying the length, heat is regulated with the help of zippered ventilation openings. The lacing adjusts the down filling’s degree of heat retention, since a higher air content provides better insulation. The outer material is breathable, water- and wind-proof.

Jury Statement The concept of a multi-function sleeping back is not new, and always a compromise. However, Jörn Wonneberger’s courage to tackle this topic impressed the jury. He was able to turn a purely functional item into something one wants to have. The precise technical implementation was exemplary. – Jury Member Marcel Herrig, Unicut Design Limited, Shenzhen, China
