European Fashion Award FASH
Experience has shown that well over 100 entries are submitted to the European Fashion Award FASH. In order to evaluate your work optimally, it is important that you comply with the following standards.
1. Portfolio in English
Photos of previous projects, working process, sketches, moods, details such as draping, technical drawings: see: The core of your job application.
2. Letter of motivation in German and English
What do you expect from participating in the European Fashion Award FASH?
Why do you still want to work in the fashion industry today?
What profession in fashion are you aiming for?
3. Curriculum Vitae in German and English
4. Proof of matriculation at a university or date of the final examination
All documents must be combined in one (!) PDF:
– file format: .pdf, maximum size: 7 MB
– file name: participation number + FASH21 e.g. 29-S-FASH21.pdf
– max. 25 pages
– Normal upper/lower case, not set in capitals
– Participation number on the 1st page
The PDF is uploaded to the OneDrive platform. The access will be sent to you with the confirmation of participation.
Based on these submissions, the jury will select the finalists from all participants. These will be notified from May 11th, 2021.
Finalists only
For the final judging, a complete outfit of your choice must be sent in by May 25th, 2021 (address followed). Complementary accessories are possible. Whether the designs are for men or women is up to the participants. There is no seasonal requirement.
Sizes: Women’s 36 or S, Men’s 52 or L.
Chest measurement: 84 cm – 104 cm
Waist measurement :66 cm – 92 cm
Hip circumference: 94 cm – 112 cm
Side length 106: cm – 106 cm
The jury is aware that no industrial work but prototypes are submitted. For the fitting during the judging, photos are required that show exactly how the model should put on the outfits. For complicated or ambiguous designs, the fitting must be documented step by step (front/back, right/left, wrapping techniques, etc.).
