Outstanding creativity is one requirement for designers, but others – knowledge about contracts, customer acquisition, copyrights and rights of use – are also essential prerequisites for successful designers. One-hour, daily workshops in German are being offered on these further training topics daily at 4 p.m. during ispo winter 07 (February 4 to 7). The workshops are being held by the German Apparel Industry Foundation and the professional association Alliance of German Designers (AGD). The German Apparel Industry Foundation was founded in 1977 with the goal of establishing pioneering promotion of the next generation. The workshops will be led by Heide Hackenberg, college instructor, author of design textbooks, jury member in international design contests and coach of many independent designers. She will also be available for consultation at the booth of AGD in the East Entrance of the New Munich Trade Fair Centre during ispo.
The workshops held in German are intended for design students and designers. Participation is free of charge.
